Jenny Connor's fantastic Corn Allergens site:  http://www.cornallergens.com  A wealth of resources for the seriously corn allergic. Take some time to explore all of the information here.

Ephraim Vishniac's Avoiding Corn website: http://www.vishniac.com/ephraim/corn.html This first corn allergy site I found on the web. Lots of good general information. He developed a corn allergy as an adult and put up the site to share his experiences. Ephriam also started the Avoiding Corn form listed below.

What Can You Eat? -- Safer Shopping

Corn Free Foods (& Products) List  http://corn-freefoods.blogspot.com

For me, this is the authoritative site for food and personal care items, your mileage may vary based on how sensitive you are to a particular ingredient.  The maintainers of the site update the list every few months and list when reactions are reported to them.  I carry a version of this list on my palm pilot to use in the grocery story and it has made shopping much easier for me. They write: "Since we all have different sensitivities, this should be considered a guide rather than a guarantee of corn-free status. This list is always changing as manufacturers are constantly changing their formulas. If you do have a reaction to any of these products, do let us know."

Corn Derived Ingredients http://www.cornallergens.com/list/corn-allergen-list.phpThis is from Jenny Connor's great Corn Allergens site.  Print this list out and tape in inside your kitchen cupboard so when you are wondering if something is safe to eat, you can check the list.  Make a list to carry to the store and to the doctor and pharmacist.  Remember, a food allergy also includes your Over The Counter (OTC) and Prescription Medications!

Where to Shop - Online Grocers

Allergy Grocery - http://www.allergygrocery.comThey have a "find products free of" search, were you can search for corn free (or multi-allergen free) foods!  This is not the most economical way to shop for groceries, but most grocery stores don't carry these special foods.  Buying in bulk or finding some neighbors with allergies so you can do large orders will save you a little cash.
